Welcome

Bruce Lowe's A Letter to Louise has been available online since 2002. From that time until his death in 2014 Bruce corresponded with hundreds of people. Most have been grateful. Some claim Bruce's work saved their lives. He is sorely missed and his work of reconciliation is unfinished. His A Letter to Louise remains published here for in the hope it will continue to offer material aid and genuine comfort to those who need it...and perhaps an affliction of conscience to those who need that.

Both Bruce and Anna Marie are gone now as earlier postings here announced. But Bruce's parting gift to us, written in 2011, is also posted here under the "Six Points" tab on this site.

Some additional links have been added to the site in the right side-bar. In September of 2012, Bruce's home church set aside a Sunday morning service to honor Bruce and Anna Marie for their lifetime of selfless service. There is a link to some video shot at that service. In addition there is a nice article written about Bruce and Anna Marie by a Dallas area reporter. In that article you will learn more about the lives of courage led by these wonderful people.

We find ourselves staggering in relentless waves of hate, bigotry, intolerance, greed and violence...as the people of the light always have. But I must say that the fact so many of us have survived it for so long offers little comfort...particularly to those among us who live their lives in clear and present physical danger for simply being who they are. It is well that we ask "How much longer!?" But perhaps there is comfort in this: We are not alone. Never have been. Never will be.

Peace.

At Last

June 26, 2015 - I wish Bruce and Anna Marie were here today to see this.

Free At Last

Luke 18:19 and Mark 10:18 read identically in the NIV...
“Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone.”
Nevertheless, I will take exception. Bruce Lowe was good. And brave. And sweet. And strong. And smart. And caring. But should the occasion ever present itself, I will happily stand toe-to-toe with Jesus and say plainly..."Well, Bruce Lowe is good."

Bruce died peacefully at home, Thursday October 29th, 2014.

Details about the funeral, scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2014, 1:00 PM at Royal Lane Baptist Church in Dallas can be found HERE.

Sad News - Feb. 4th, 2013

Anna Marie and Bruce Lowe, 2012
Anna Marie Lowe died peacefully today having fought the good fight and run the race faithfully to the finish, full of grace in word and deed. Bruce, although in significant decline over the last several months, is still with us. Prayers of thanks for Anna Marie and kind words for Bruce, their two sons and for the thousands for whom Anna Marie has been the soul of kindness may be the best mortals have the power to offer at this point.

Peace,

Welcome

Bruce Lowe's A Letter to Louise has been available online since 2002. In that time Bruce has corresponded with hundreds of people. Most have been grateful. Some claim Bruce's work saved their lives. The old web address of his website, www.godmademegay.com, is pointed here now, in large part to make maintenance easier but also in the hope that this work of Grace will reach even more people over the next ten years.

Bruce and Anna Marie are still alive and well at this writing in September 2012. Bruce is within striking distance of having seen the seasons change 100 times...and Anna Marie is not far behind. Both of them are coping with toll time takes on the human body with good humor, but neither are operating at full speed anymore. I reported last year that Bruce has retired from active service on the website and that his email address is no longer active. His parting gift to us, written in 2011, is posted under the "Six Points" tab on this site.

If you would like to send a good word to Bruce, please send it to me and I will be glad to pass it along. My email address is shown at the bottom of the page.
